These photos were taken on the night of April 15, 1997 from a site about 10 miles northwest of Oklahoma City. I used a Minolta XK 35 mm camera. The pictures were taken with a 28 mm lens, 50 mm lens, 100 mm lens, and a 200 mm lens. The film was Fuji 800.
1. The 28 mm lens was at f2.8 and the exposure was for thirty seconds.
2. The 50 mm lens was at f2.8 and the exposure was one minute.
3. The 100 mm lens was at f2.8 and the exposure was one minute.
4. The 200 mm lens was a slow lens of f4 and the exposure was for ten minutes.
The 28 mm at thirty seconds was a stationary camera. All the rest were guided by a barn door hinge drive. A 10x32 machine screw driven by a battery powered rotisserie motor from my backyard cooker drove the camera.
