A wide-angle shot of H-B showing the growing ion tail. The blue channel has been slightly enhanced in this image to bring out the length and structure of the ionized-gas tail. This view is approximately 9 degrees high by 5 degrees wide. North is to the upper left.

Taken with a 200mm telephoto lens at f/4 piggybacked on a Super Polaris mount, unhypered Fujicolor G800 film, 20-minute exposure taken 09 March 1997 at 1210 UTC from Table Mesa, a desert location 40 miles north of Phoenix, Arizona.
