1. Nikon FM2 piggybacked on guiding telescope; 180 f/2.8 Nikkor lens @ f/2.8. Approx. 4 min. exposure. Film: Ektachrome 100SW pushed 2 stops. Post-processed to minimize skyglow from waxing crescent moon. The galactic cluster visible just to the left of the ion tail is NGC 1342.
2. Taken at prime focus of 15cm f/5 Newtonian telescope. Approx 4 min exposure on Ektachrome 100SW pushed 2 stops. Gamma values adjusted in post-processing to emphasize ion tail and fainter parts of dust tail.
