This photo was taken about one hour before sunrise near Half Moon Bay, CA on the morning of February 19, 1997 with Fuji 400 film exposed for five minutes. Note the straight blue tail which is composed of ionized molecules and the irregular white debris cloud which is directed away from the sun.
