Photos taken from a site approx. 5 miles west of Sealy, TX (50 miles W of downtown Houston). Negatives scanned and loaded into Adobe Photoshop 4.0. Levels adjusted and sharpening applied using unsharp mask. Images then were stacked (added) together.
Strong interference from 1st Quarter moon. Visually, dust tail length approximately 6 degrees; ivory in color. Estimated magnitude 0 (compared to Capella and Rigel).
