First image: Comet Hale-Bopp sets over man sitting on the grass field. Orion sets behind Santo Antonio da Barra fort and lighthouse, built in 1598. Image acquired using 28mm lens and Konica SR-G 3200.

Second image: Comet Hale-Bopp and the public telephone booth in a "berimbau" shape. M42 can be seen to the left of the image. 50mm lens and Konica SR-G= 3200.
