Two views of Comet Hale-Bopp from the top of Sunrise Mountain, Stokes State Forest, New Jersey. This area is about 50 miles northwest of New York City.
Both photos were taken using a Pentax k-1000, 50mm lens at f/2.8, Fuji Super HG V 400 ASA film, and 15 second exposures. The time was 9:30 Eastern, April 15, 1997. Observers were Joseph M. Sivo, Joseph R. Sivo and Thomas J. Sivo.
