Photo taken 5 May 1997 from Arma, KS by Mark Stafford and Kay Brown at ~8:55 pm CDT. The camera was a Canon EOS 35mm with a 80 to 200mm lens set at 200mm. This was a 30 sec. exposure on a tripod with no tracking and using Fuji SuperG 800 film. This photo was taken from our backyard through some Silver Maple and Pecan trees. We have received so much pleasure from this comet; we really hate to see it go. Apparent magnitude ~ +0.5, tail length ~ 10 degrees.
