I photographed Hale-Bopp at 0330gmt April 7 from Loveland Pass in Colorado, 12,000 feet above sea level and just a few steps from the Continental Divide. Weather was clear with slight blowing snow. A Nikon N90s with 135mm f2 lens was used. Exposure of 20 seconds at f2 on Kodak Gold ISO 1000 negative film.
