February 11, 05.30 UT. 20 x 80 binocular, field of view about 3.5 degrees. Magnitude (naked eye): + 1.7.
Due to city light and a very thin layer of clouds there was (almost) no tail was visible with the naked eye. In the binoculars the comet had a very bright starlike nucleus, surrounded by a bright bow. The length of the tail was about 2 degrees.
