Windows to the Universe is a user-friendly World-Wide Web site that includes a rich array of documents (including images, movies, animations, and data sets) that explore Earth and Space sciences and the historical and cultural ties between science, exploration, and the human experience. http://www.windows.ucar.edu

NASA’s Observatorium is a “public access site for Earth and space data, [with] pictures of the Earth, planets, stars, and other cool stuff, as well as the stories behind those images.” http://observe.ivv.nasa.gov .

Quest: NASA’s K-12 Internet Initiative uses on-line interactive projects and virtual conferences to bring the careers and knowledge of NASA scientists and engineers into the classroom. http://quest.arc.nasa.gov/ .

PUMAS (Practical Uses of Math and Science) is an on-line journal of Math and Science Examples that is aimed at helping K-12 teachers enrich their presentation of science and math. This Web Site is currently collecting and reviewing examples, and volunteer reviewers are needed. http://pumas.jpl.nasa.gov/ .

Spacelink is an electronic aeronautics and space resource library of curriculum materials, NASA and project information, and more. It is accessible via the World-Wide Web, ftp, or direct modem connection. http://spacelink.nasa.gov/.index.html .

Classroom of the Future is a NASA research and development center of educational technologies. It also provides technology-based tools and resources to K-12 schools (they developed the “Astronomy Village” CD-ROM, for example). http://www.cotf.edu/ .

Telescopes in Education allows classrooms to remotely operate a 24” telescope on Mt. Wilson. http://tie.jpl.nasa.gov/tie/index.html .
