Galileo Image of Jupiter's Great Red Spot

Jupiter's atmosphere in the 756 nm filter of the Galileo imaging system. The image is centered at planetographic latitude -26 and west longitude 328, and is the southwest part of a six-frame mosaic of the Great Red Spot. Each pixel subtends a square 35.7 km on a side. North is at the top. The universal time is 4 hours, 20 minutes, 55 seconds on June 26, 1996.
