GOALS: Use facts about the solar system to demonstrate



This is one of a series of educational modules relating to the Galileo satellite science goals. The target grade level is 6-9, but activities can be adapted either up or down for use with different levels. This module consists of an introductory section which exposes teachers and students to basic concepts in solar system exploration, a table containing various solar system parameters, and a series of three activities which use parameters from the table to demonstrate concepts such as basic physics, graphing, and analyzing and drawing conclusions from data.
