'Journey To Jupiter' To Be Rebroadcast On NASA TV
"JOURNEY TO JUPITER" REBROADCAST ON NASA TV
On Thursday, December 11, at 1 p.m. EST (10 a.m. PST), NASA TV will
rebroadcast last month's "Journey to Jupiter" Night, featuring the Galileo
Project Manager, Bill O'Neil, giving a public talk here at JPL on the
Galileo mission. He covers our discoveries to date and what we plan to
investigate in the next 2 years of the mission, which focusses on Jupiter's
icy moon Europa for the first 15 months. The evening was capped by a
special phone-in message from Dr. Arthur C. Clarke, author of "2001: A
Space Odyssey", "2010: Odyssey Two", "2061: Odyssey Three", and just
published this year "3001: The Final Odyssey", a series of fictional movies
and books surrounding the exploration of Jupiter and the possibility of
life on Europa.
We invite you to join from 1-2 p.m. Eastern on Thursday, December 11 for a
rebroadcast of an exciting recent event that highlights upcoming space
exploration.
NASA TV is broadcast on GE-2, transponder 9C, C-Band,
located at 85 degrees West longitude. The frequency is
3880.0 MHz. Polarization is vertical and audio is
monaural at 6.8 MHz.
