Questionnaire

In order to satisfy your request for Limited Access SRTM data we'll have to know a little about you, and your intended use of the data. Please answer these questions and e-mail to mkobrick@jpl.nasa.gov, or fax to 818-354-9476, Attn: Mike Kobrick. For purposes of this request you'll be the Principal Investigator.

  1. Name and citizenship of the Principal Investigator, along with mailing address, e-mail and phone number.
  2. Name of your organization or university.
  3. The geographical coordinates of the SRTM data requested. SRTM data are divided into 1° x 1° latitude and longitude cells, and are identified by the coordinates of the southwest corner. For example, N45E056 covers the region between latitude 45-46 degrees north latitude, and 56-57 degrees east longitude. Please specify the cell(s) you are requesting with this convention.
  4. A short description of the research or other intended use of SRTM data
  5. What type of information will be generated as a result of the research
  6. Estimate of how long this work will take
  7. A description of the security precautions that will be undertaken to protect the data from theft or unauthorized access to include physical media storage and electronic or network storage
