APS Camera Chip Fits on a Finger

APS Camera Chip Fits on a Finger

This is the first 256x256 Complementary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) camera-on-a-chip. The one chip camera was made possible through the use of CMOS active pixel sensor technology. In addition to the pixel array, the chip contains timing and control circuit to self-sequence the imager and provide imager data output without external intervention and control.
