Hughes and JPL Sign Development Agreement

A strategic alliance between Hughes Space and Communications (HSC) and NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) will focus on the development of new technology for guidance, navigation and control (GNC) for both commercial and government satellite applications. (L-R) JPL's Director of the Technology and Applications Programs Directorate Michael Sander and HSC Senior Vice President Michael Houterman signed the agreement at HSC's El Segundo headquarters on December 17, 1999.
