Comet Hale-Bopp over the Teton Mountain Range shot on March 24, 1997 by photographer Jonathan Adams of Jackson, Wyo. The night after the full moon Adams exposed the comet on Fuji 800 color negative film with an exposure ranging from 12-18 seconds. Using a Nikon camera, with a Nikon 50mm 1.8 lens set for 2.8. The photo was shot in a parking lot at the southern end of the Grand Teton National Park, Wyo. with the moon illuminating the mountain range.
