Three images of the Hale Bopp comet taken on April 06.86 UT with open cluster M34 in Perseus. The 1st image was taken with a 35 mm lens f/2.8, exp. 3' - the 2nd with a 300 mm. lens f/2.8, exp. 3' and the 3rd image with a 600 mm Takahashi f/6 and 6' exp. All images were taken from Col Druscie Observatory. The authors are: Alessandro Dimai, Renzo Volcan and Davide Ghirardo (Astronomical Association of Cortina). The comet was of magnitude -0.7 with a naked eye visible ion tail of 15 deg. and a diffuse and bright dust tail of ~16 deg.
