Comet C/1996 B2 (Hyakutake) at 11:53 UT, March 11, 1996. North is up, east is left, and the field of view is about 10 arcmin square. This false-color image is a composite of four 100-s exposures with an SBIG Model ST-4 CCD camera mounted on a 4-inch f/10 Meade Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. The camera and telescope combination is attached to the 0.4-m telescope at Limber Observatory and normally serves as a finder and autoguider.
