Observer: Garry Holmes
Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Date: April 8, 1997 02:30-03:00 UT
First three images were exposed and guided simultaneously starting at 0230 UT on 8 April:
1. 50mm f/2.8, 6 minutes, Fuji 800 (unhypered seemed to work
as well as hypered).
2. 200mm f/4.5, 10 minutes, Fuji 800
3. 130mm aperture f/1.65 Celestron Schmidt, Kodak PPF 400
The first shows almost all of Perseus up to the double cluster; the narrow-angle images separate M34 from the dust tail nicely.
4. Schmidt, 3 minutes on hypered 2415 film, about 0300 UT on 8 April.
