The stars at night may be big and bright deep in the heart of Texas, but not necessarily so in Dallas. We can thank urban light pollution along with auto exhaust emissions for dimming details of the comet's tail. Regardless, we marvel at viewing a remnant of the Creation.
Both photos were taken from the street in front of the Marfam Homestead using a 35mm lens to capture the moon and comet in the field of view.
