Observer: Fred Stauffer
Location: Gondiswil, Switzerland
Date: April 10, 1997 20:50 UT

Camera: Olympus OM-2n. 50mm/f=1.4 lens. Kodak Ektar 1000. Exposure time 15 sec. The images were scanned by Remo Nyfeler from 20x30cm paper prints.

First image: The comet seems to be surrounded by a great circle formed by a dozen of stars reaching almost the margin of the image, and, in the center, the head of the comet seems to be boxed in the frame of a little pentagram formed by stars.

Second image: Nice combination of Hale-Bopp, Pleiades and Moon.
