Voyager Images of Amalthea

Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 were both launched in 1977 and flew by Jupiter
in 1979.
Voyager 1 arrived at the Jovian system first and made its closest
approach to Amalthea on March 4, 1979 at a distance of 425,000 km.
Voyager 2 made its closest flyby of Amalthea in July 1979 at a distance
