Voyager Images of Europa

Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 were both launched in 1977 and flew by Jupiter in 1979. Voyager 1 arrived at the Jovian system first and made a distant flyby of Europa of 732,230 km in March 1979. Voyager 2 made closer flyby of Europa on July 9, 1979 at a distance of 205,720 km.
