This image is the sum of two 150-sec exposures of Saturn taken at the Apache
Point Observatory with the GRIM II infrared camera. The image was
taken in a methane band at 2.36 microns where Saturn
is quite dark. Clouds obscured Saturn during the time of the ring
plane crossing. The planet was not observable until 01:00 UT. This
image was taken at 02:00 12 Feb UT at an airmass of 4.2. Observers
were Mark Marley, Charles Walter, and Marla Geha of NMSU.
