Saturn Observation Forms

Everyone is encouraged to participate in the Saturn Ring Plane Crossing event. Every contribution counts. Below are some Saturn observation forms that you can use to record your observations. These forms are courtesy of Julius Benton, Association of Lunar and Planetary Observers.

Things to looks for while observing Saturn include:

• The changing aspect of Saturn's rings.
• Saturn's moons as they occult and eclipse each other. Saturn's major moons will line up in the plane of the equator (Miman, Enceladus, Tethys, Dione, Rhea and Titan).
• The belts and zones of Saturn's cloudtops.
